Welcome to Parents United for Justice, Inc. ("PU4J"). By accessing our website, booking our 1:1 sessions, or utilizing our document preparation services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not utilize our services.
SECTION 1: TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Non-Legal Administrative Services
Parents United for Justice, Inc. provides administrative support, document typing assistance, and case organization services for pro se litigants (individuals representing themselves in court). PU4J is not a law firm. We do not provide legal representation, legal advice, or attorney-client advocacy. Any guidance provided is for educational and administrative strategy purposes only. For formal legal advice regarding your specific situation, please consult a licensed attorney.
2. Refund and Cancellation Policy
1:1 Strategy Sessions: All session fees ($100) are paid at the time of booking to secure your time slot. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Rescheduling fee may apply. Cancellations or missed appointments without notice are non-refundable.
Document Preparation Services: Because administrative intake, review, and drafting begin immediately upon payment, all flat-rate and custom document package fees are considered fully earned upon receipt and are strictly non-refundable.
The 50% Balance Rule: If a split-payment plan is authorized, a 50% deposit is required to begin drafting. Under no circumstances will final, unwatermarked documents be released to the client until the remaining 50% balance is paid in full.
3. Document Deadlines (The 48-Hour Rule)
If you require court documents or existing orders to be reviewed during a scheduled 1:1 session, they must be emailed to our team at least 48 business hours prior to your appointment. Failure to submit documents within this timeframe may result in your session being automatically rescheduled. A $25 rescheduling fee will apply.
4. Client Responsibility and Limitation of Liability
The client assumes full and ultimate responsibility for tracking their own court dates, meeting court filing deadlines, and verifying the absolute accuracy of any final documents prepared. PU4J is not responsible for missed deadlines, local rules compliance, or the final outcome of any court or mediation proceedings.
SECTION 2: PRIVACY POLICY
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when filling out our digital intake forms, booking sessions, or communicating via email. This includes your name, email address, phone number, payment details (processed securely via Stripe), and any sensitive court or family case documentation you choose to share with us for review.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used strictly to fulfill your requested services, process payments via Stripe, schedule calendar appointments, and communicate case details back to you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or case details with third parties under any circumstances.
3. Data Security and Retention
We implement standard technical security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Case documents and form responses are stored securely within our private corporate drive. We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide your requested services and maintain appropriate business records.
4. Third-Party Links
Our platform utilizes trusted third-party tools to handle workflows safely, including Google Workspace (Drive, Forms, Meet) and Stripe for secure, encrypted payment processing.
