Ebony S. Lee is the Founder and Executive Director of Parents United for Justice, Inc., a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering parents navigating the complexities of the family court system.
Her mission was born from personal experience and a profound understanding of how overwhelming and isolating the legal process can feel—especially for those representing themselves or struggling to have their voices heard.
Raised in an environment marked by abuse, addiction, and instability, Ebony’s early life was filled with challenges few could imagine. She grew up surrounded by drugs, violence, and sexual abuse in the home, yet found solace in reading—a safe space where words became her escape and education became her weapon of survival.
As she grew older, Ebony made a vow: no child should ever feel unprotected, unseen, or unheard the way she once did. That promise evolved into a lifelong mission to help parents build stronger, safer homes and give their children the stability and advocacy every child deserves.
With years of experience assisting parents in custody, visitation, and child welfare cases, Ebony has developed a deep understanding of family law procedures, legal documentation, and courtroom advocacy. Through Parents United for Justice, she has helped countless families prepare their cases, understand court orders, and reclaim their power within the system.
Olanda Lopez-Sweat, Co-Host and Document Preparer, brings both personal and family experience to Parents United for Justice Inc. and From Love to Litigation. Through her husband’s court journey and her own role as a stepmom, she’s gained a strong understanding of the court system and a deep focus on what truly matters: the best interests of the children. Olanda is passionate about being part of a movement that empowers parents to grow, learn, and make better choices every day, even through the challenges of the court process. She provides guidance, encouragement, and a reminder that every decision is an opportunity to do better than the one before. Olanda also offers translation and support for Spanish-speaking families — para mi gente, también aquí estamos para ustedes.
Ms. Aintree C. Jones, Co-Host and Document Preparer for Parents United for Justice Inc. and the From Love to Litigation podcast, is what many call Big Mama—the one who will cuss you out, love on you, and feed you all at the same time. She pushes people to stop using excuses. Aintree is passionate and motivated after watching someone dear to her walk away from their child to protect that child’s mental health. She contributes tough love with just enough compassion to make people fall in love with her. Aintree values family and understands both two-parent and blended households. She believes it can work, but only when all parties truly want it for the children, not for themselves.
